K-9 UNIT VISITS

At the request of the Housing Authority, the Armstrong County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit will be conducting random visits to all Housing Authority properties. During these visits, Deputy Brice and his K-9 partner, Blak, may be seen driving through your housing community or walking through your buildings.

Pet owners need to be cognizant of these random visits and are reminded that pets are required to be leashed at all times, and are to be carried whenever being transported through common areas or otherwise confined (i.e. carrier, stroller, etc.).

If you encounter Deputy Brice and Blak, please do not approach them, especially if you have your pet with you. Remember that Blak is a law enforcement officer and will be on duty, and one of his jobs is to protect Deputy Brice.
