April 1, 2020, Governor Tom Wolf placed all Pennsylvania residents under a stay-at-home order as a measure to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The order requires Pennsylvanians to stay home as much as possible, but may leave to go to work at an essential business that is still open, to go to the grocery store or pharmacy, to visit a doctor, to provide care for another person, or to go outside for exercise. Social distancing should continue to be practiced if persons leave their homes for any of the mentioned reasons. The order will remain in effect until at least April 30th. Schools and nonessential businesses remain closed until further notice.
